How does the Jetlev work?
The Jetlev works on the thrust to weight ratio and uses water as it's propulsion medium. Water is used because it's high density can carry vast amounts of power at lower velocities.
Are there any height and weight restrictions?
Yes, you must be between 5 feet and 6 feet, 6 inches. The Jetlev can accommodate someone from 100 pounds to 330 pounds.
Is there an age limit?
Yes, 16 and over. If you are between 16 and 18, you must have a parent present to sign an additional waiver.
Is it safe?
Yes, the Jetlev took over 10 years to develop with safety as it's number one priority. If you were to fall the jetpack would absorb the impact and you would land in water. The jetpack itself has a positive buoyancy and will help you float.

Our pick-up location is located in Miami:
7904 West Drive Harbour Island, Miami, FL 33141
(When using GPS, do not input Miami, type in North Bay Village)
What happens if it rains?
We can fly in light rain and wind; if the weather is unsafe to fly in we will call you prior to your appointment to reschedule. If you do not receive a call, please meet us at the flying location at your scheduled appointment time.
What to expect your first flight?
Our certified trainers will communicate with the flyer through a water-proof headset and control the Jetlev throttle remotely. Typically a first time flyer will take anywhere in between 5-10 minutes to get in the air. The Jetlev is capable of reaching 30 feet in height and top speeds of 25 mph.
What to expect your second flight?
For your second flight expect to control your own throttle perform more tricks, and go higher and faster!
Can you bring people to watch?
By law we can only have 6 customers aboard our boat at a time. We reserve 4 spots for "flyers" and 2 spots for "watchers" but can take groups of 6 flyers at a time. For each "watcher" it is $30, this is because the watcher is taking up a spot that we could use for a flyer.
What to wear and bring?
Wear and bring anything that you would wear and bring to the beach. Towels, sunscreen, water, snacks, a camera, bathing suite, etc. Water shoes are recommended.
Why can't I use my cellphone on the boat?
Our instructors use a remote control and communicate with the flyers by a headset, cell phones interfere with the remote and headset. Please feel free to bring a camera to document your experience.
Are gift certificates available for purchase?
Yes, Zainojet sells gift certificates, but we do not offer refunds on them. Call our office for inquiries. |
